Distractions. They are everywhere. We hold them in our hands and mindlessly scroll over things that add nothing to our lives. We get mad at folks over things that don’t make any difference in the grand scheme of life. We find fault with people, especially those we are supposed to love. We treat strangers better than we treat our brothers and sisters in Christ…for what? For what?! Why? Let me tell you. Satan is a master deceiver and flame arrow thrower. He rarely misses his mark, especially when people are vulnerable. Never forget that both God and Satan have a plan for you, your family, and your life. Don’t allow Satan’s flaming darts and arrows to distract you! Keep the main thing the main thing. Focus on what is gonna matter for eternity. Stay close to God. Seek His wisdom and direction. I am FAR from perfect, and I can promise you I won’t be this side of Heaven. None of us will be. Stand on the firm foundation of God and remember this verse from His word. I have this taped to my mirror in my bathroom. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, my God, my rock and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14
